Thanks for sharing "The Pipeline Activity Report"! I just wanted to clarify a few things to make sure I’m understanding the methodology correctly. Does the report capture a snapshot of data (opps details) at a set point in time, for example, on Monday morning (Snapshot X), and then the following Monday (Snapshot Y)? Does your SQL query compare each opportunity from Snapshot X with Snapshot Y, tracking changes in:
-ARR value,
-Opportunity stage,
-Closed date
One thing I’m still a bit unclear about is why the current open pipeline as of 01/29/2024 for February ($962,860) isn’t carried over as the opening balance for the prior week's open pipeline in March (which is ~1,268,146). Could you help me understand this part better?
Would love to hear your advice on how to interpret this better.
